About Nordic Interiors

All the classical contemporary furniture that we have selected for Nordic Interiors is Scandinavian throughout and has been made with traditional carpentry techniques. The furniture has been lovingly hand finished by skilled craftsmen, with great care and respect for the environment. Customers who visit our showroom can rest assured that the furniture and accessories are made of high quality, natural materials. We at Nordic Interiors believe that an investment in our furniture is an investment in the wider community; keeping the traditional crafts alive, and ensuring that no inferior materials or shoddy manufacturing methods are allowed.
 

History

We opened Nordic Interiors in London’s West End in 2001. We had just moved from Stockholm to London and were about to furnish our new home when we realised that something was missing - when we went shopping for furniture we just couldn’t find what wanted!

We missed the classical contemporary style that we had learnt to love while living in Sweden, mainly due to it being both stylish and functional. The idea to bring the very best of Nordic interior design to the UK was born.

For us, starting fresh with a new business in a new city, it was all about honesty and high standards. We created our showroom filled with furniture that we ourselves wanted to own; products that we believed in. Everything about the collection is honest and real, and it means that we can be true to our values and that we feel good about what we are selling.

The Modern Showroom

Today, we are proud of our achievement. The Nordic Interiors showroom offers a wide range of classical contemporary furniture including sofas, armchairs and dining tables as well as wardrobes and dressers from Swedish designers G.A.D and Norrgavel and other manufacturers that meet their high standards. None of our furniture is available elsewhere and there are very few other companies offering similar products in the UK.

The showroom’s opening and subsequent success has been widely publicised in the home decorating press and we have acquired a growing network of loyal customers who frequently come back for more once they have been smitten by the classical contemporary style. Our customers also appreciate the idea that each piece of furniture has been selected with great care and attention, making sure that everything meets the high standards that were set from the very beginning.
